By creating micro-channels in the skin, this treatment harnesses the
body's innate healing process to boost collagen production, revitalizing
and firming the skin. It improves texture and tone, lessens the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, minimizes pore size, and leaves the skin looking radiant and healthy.
Our Microchannel PRO Delivery Solution applied contain naturally-derived growth factors, peptides and stem cytokine to enhance healing and reduce hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and acne scars.
Can be used for face, neck, and body.
This treatment taps into the body's natural healing process by generating micro-channels in the skin, which enhances collagen production to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. It refines texture and tone, reduces the visibility of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, decreases pore size, and gives the skin a vibrant, healthy glow.
During the treatment, Microchannel MD Delivery Solution rich in growth factors, peptides and stem cytokine are applied topically to boost cell production, further enhance hydration, wound healing, and reducing hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and acne scars.
Can be used for face, neck, and body.
Utilizes the body's natural healing ability by forming micro-channels in the scalp, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to refresh and strengthen the skin, while also encouraging healthier hair growth.
After the treatment, Microchannel Hair Serum abundant in growth factors, peptides and stem cytokine are applied to the scalp, increasing cell regeneration to support follicle health, enhance hydration, and improve the overall condition of the scalp. This dual-action approach tackles hair thinning and revitalizes the scalp, resulting in increased density and thickness.
Microchanneling is a relatively new treatment that isn't widely recognized yet. It's essentially an advanced form of "Microchanneling", which you may be more familiar with.
Our Microchanneling procedure employs the Procell™ MicroChanneling device equipped with fine needles that pierce the skin to create micro-wounds to stimulate the skin. This is performed over the area being treated using a stamping technique. These microscopic skin injuries stimulate the body's natural healing process, leading to the production of fresh collagen and elastin in the treated regions. As a result, there's a noticeable enhancement in the firmness and texture of the skin, as well as an improvement in the appearance of pore size, stretch marks, and scarring.
Your treatment will also include serums and aftercare products, which serve to enhance the skin rejuvenation process.

The two treatments are quite alike, as they both operate on the same fundamental principle to address cosmetic issues and enhance the skin’s overall appearance.
The primary distinction between Microchanneling and Microneedling lies in the devices employed during the procedure. The metal needles in many Microneedling tools can cause tearing of the skin, particularly if used by an individual lacking proper training.
In contrast, Procell™ Microchanneling uses filaments to create uniform Microchannels that rejuvenate the skin with minimal actual damage. As a result, patients typically experience reduced discomfort, inflammation, and recovery time.
The Livra Microchannel Delivery Solution—featuring hyaluronic acid, Stem Cytokines™, and other healing components that calm the skin—boosts the effectiveness of a microchanneling treatment. Our providers will apply this solution during your appointment to ensure maximum absorption.
Before Treatment
Please arrive at the office without makeup on, and with a clean (for men a clean shaven) face.
If you've had Botox, Fillers, or Threads injected, you must wait 2 weeks before getting microchanneling.
Avoid any facial peels, microdermabrasion and laser on the area 2 weeks before treatment.
Avoid unprotected sun exposure or sunburn for at least 24 hours prior to your treatment.
Discontinue using any waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis in the area for 5-6 days prior to your treatment.
If you are being treated for hair loss, please arrive at the office with the shortest haircut possible and clean hair. Please do not apply sprays or gels.
If your skin is overly dry, start moisturizing and ensure the condition is under control prior to undergoing any treatment.
Microchanneling is not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Discontinue retinol (2% or higher) or tretinoin at least 3 days prior to treatment.
Discontinue Accutane or any related drugs for a minimum of 6 months prior to undergoing microchanneling.
We cannot perform microchanneling on unstable diabetic patients due to problems with healing.
If you have any active inflammatory skin conditions (e.g. eczema, psoriasis, infection, rash, active acne, or any type of dermatitis at the treatment site (because it may aggravate the condition), we cannot perform microchanneling on your skin.
If you have a history of cold sores, please contact your doctor for anti-viral medication, starting 2 days prior to your treatment. If you would like your lips treated the day of appointment.
Avoid unnecessary blood-thinning medications (e.g. NSAIDs like ibuprofen), but please take all medications that are prescribed by your primary physician as you normally would.
After Treatment
After the treatment, your skin may feel warm and tight, like a mild sunburn for 4-24 hours.
Refrain from touching the treated area for 90 minutes after the treatment.
Continue applying the serum provided until gone; frequent application is recommended due to loss of water through the skin after the treatment.
Avoid washing your face for the first 6-8 hours. After that, you may wash the treated area with a gentle cleanser and apply a mild moisturizer. Avoid anything that may dry out the skin.
Do NOT use any Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula), or anything perceived as “active” skincare for 3-5 days.
Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Be sure all makeup brushes have been cleaned before using them.
Do not exfoliate or do IPL, laser, hydrafacial, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for at least 2 weeks.
Avoid direct sunlight for at least 48 hours, wearing sunscreen SPF40+ after that.
Avoid swimming, sauna, or vigorous exercise for at least 72 hours.
If the skin feels hot or sensitive, apply aloe vera or a cold compress to the area.
Mild acne and milia can occur in rare cases. Avoid picking as they will go away in a few days.
Mild skin sloughing may occur for a few days after treatment.
Drink plenty of water and remain hydrated.
After 24-48 hours post-procedure: apply the Cellular Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator to maximize your results. Cleanse first and then apply 1-3 pumps each, morning and night.
Return for a follow-up treatment in about a month or as recommended.
Our Microchanneling procedure can be combined with RF Skin Tightening and VI Peels 2 weeks post treatment. If you are interested in accelerating your results with a combined-treatment approach, please speak with your medical professional to help you plan out your ideal treatment schedule
Microchanneling is a noninvasive procedure designed to stimulate your body’s own natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, microchanneling can help your body start this process without penetrating into living tissue.
Before the procedure begins, a numbing cream is applied to reduce pain. There may be slight discomfort that resolves quickly.
As Procell microchanneling treatments are minimally invasive, they are also safe for all skin types. Whether you are fair-skinned or dark, and even if you experience chronic breakouts, properly conducted microchanneling treatments will not result in hyperpigmentation, keloid scars, or other lasting negative side effects.
Microchanneling suits individuals looking to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone.
Although it takes time to produce collagen in the treated area, many people see results in as little as 24 hours. Results will become even more noticeable and dramatic with time and further treatments. After 2-3 treatments a thicker more robust, collagen filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity and wrinkles.
It is highly recommended that you keep your skin clean and dry for at least 90 minutes but up to 24 hours after treatment. Do not apply anything to your skin other than what is supplied or suggested to you by your technician.
Results of Microchanneling typically last for several months, with optimal outcomes achieved through several sessions.
While mild redness and swelling are common immediately after treatment, they typically subside within a few days. Most patients can resume their regular routines shortly after the procedure.
Before microneedling, avoiding sun exposure and using certain skincare products is essential. After treatment, patients should protect their skin from the sun and follow post-care instructions provided by their skincare specialist.
During the Microchanneling procedure, a numbing cream may be applied to minimize discomfort. The Microchanneling device is then gently passed over the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries. During treatment, serums applied (containing naturally-derived growth factors, peptides and stem cytokine) restore and increase biological communication within the skin during the wound-healing cascade that an aging immune system no longer provides, enhance healing and promote optimal results.
The number of treatments you’ll require before seeing results depend on what we are treating. Light wrinkles may improve after only 2-3 treatments, where as deep scarring may require 6 or more. Your practitioner will discuss your needs and recommend a treatment plan.
Microchanneling is typically very safe. However, to prevent worsening of certain skin conditions and to avoid injections, it should not be used for people who have a variety of conditions. These include:
· Rosacea, Eczema, or Psoriasis
· History of keloid scarring
· Blood clotting issues
· Autoimmune disorders
· Bacterial, viral, or fungal infections
· Active acne or open lesions
· Moles, warts, and solar keratosis (we can avoid these areas)
· Currently pregnant
If any of these apply to you, please call us to discuss alternate treatments.
